Mercedes Benz Mobilo

This Mobilo guarantee comes as standard with every Mercedes Benz car without additional charge for the first four years (for first registration from 1 April 2008). After that, mobility for breakdowns renews from service to service (Conditional on compliance with the Mobilo terms applicable to your vehicle) for up to 30 years.

With Mobilo we promise to always keep you mobile:

FOR BREAKDOWNS.
Mobilo guarantees you mobility and fast assistance if your Mercedes is no longer roadworthy due to a technical defect.

FOR MINOR MISHAPS.
Small misfortunes can easily happen. It's a good thing you can also rely on Mobilo in these cases, whether it's lost keys, low oil or coolant, mistaken tank filling or sudden water seepage.

FOR ACCIDENTS AND VANDALISM.
Mobilo also provides you with assistance when your vehicle is suddenly so damaged by mechanical violence from a direct exterior force that it is no longer roadworthy.

The Features of Mobilo

  • On-site assistance

    If your Mercedes Benz is no longer roadworthy due to a breakdown or minor mishap, we will help provide a solution with our partners. On-site service will take care of small repairs for up to € 150 incl. VAT. Material costs for tyres, batteries and tires and all consumption materials are not included.

  • Towing service

    If you cannot continue your journey in your Mercedes Benz due to a breakdown, minor mishap, accident or a case of vandalism, Mercedes Benz arranges for and covers the cost of towing to the nearest Mercedes Benz service outlet.

  • Accommodation/hotel

    If you would like to wait for your vehicle to be repaired and this cannot be completed on the same day, Mercedes Benz will gladly arrange an accommodation option for you. For the length of the repair, to a maximum of 3 days, we will cover the accommodation costs incl. breakfast for the driver and passengers.

  • Replacement vehicle

    If you don't want to lose your mobility while your car is being repaired, Mercedes Benz will arrange and pay for a courtesy vehicle for you during the length of the repair, to a maximum of 3 days, under standard market conditions. Costs for fuels and lubricants and other additional services are not included. The type of replacement vehicle varies according to availability. In the event of an accident/vandalism and minor mishaps, the standard insurance terms also apply.

  • Plane/train

    As an alternative to a replacement vehicle, Mercedes Benz covers the cost of a plane or train trip for you to continue your journey or return home. If you would like to personally pick up your car from the Mercedes Benz partner at which it is being repaired, Mercedes Benz also pays for the cost of travelling to this location. We will cover a cost of € 400 incl. VAT per person for a return trip. This service is available as an alternative to a replacement vehicle.

  • Taxi/chauffeur

    And the lift to the airport or train station is also covered. We will pay for the cost of a taxi or local public transportation to a maximum of €65 incl. VAT.

  • Vehicle return transport

    If your Mercedes Benz cannot be made roadworthy again within 3 business days, we will organise the return of your vehicle upon your request to your personal Mercedes Benz service partner and pay for the cost. As the return is made using consolidated transport, the time needed may vary according to distance and repair location.

  • Organisational assistance for accidents

    When you have an accident or your vehicle is vandalised, we also provide assistance if necessary in arranging for the scrapping. If the accident or vandalism occurs abroad, we help you find a legal adviser and translator.
